I am in the process of replacing by USB LiteOn SOHW-1693SX which after 4 yrs has decided to quit. It is my understand that some of the new technology allows for you to hook your Digital Video Camera directly to a USB DVD burner and burn to a DVD thus eliminating a second software program that caputures your Digital Video to a program then using another program to burn it to a DVD. If this correct, which USB DVD burner(s) offer this. Any guidance or direction will be greatly appreciated.
