This laptop is driving me absolute bonkers. Until the other day I could only use safe mode otherwise the mouse would freeze and the keyboard would too. Then I used a usb mouse but then it started doing the same thing. Which did not make any sense. So I decided to remove the battery, so far it has been working good. But I am going to get a new/refurbished laptop. Looking at a HP 17'' monitor with a 500 gig hard drive and no Nvidia video card. That way if the Acer dies I will have another computer to use. When I get the HP I will retire the Acer. The newer HP should be here by next Wednesday.
