    encript folders

    Greetings
    Frist I'd like to thank you for all the help you have provided over the past few years.
    Is there a program that encripts folders as I have grand kids now, I'd prefer they not go in certain areas. (accounts ect.) Notting of national defence, just " keep your cotton-picking hands Off"

      Depending of the flavor of Windows there should be built in available. I would search MS site for your OS and how to use encryption if it has it. Also I'm sure there's a bunch of 3rd party apps you could get for free. I would check the big download sites like Softpedia Snapfiles Download.com etc..

      Gizmo's site has good freeware picks for most any category. Also the user comments section may have suggestions for newer software they site didn't know about yet:
