Itunes is driving me crazy, I have a 80GB Ipod Classic and I have about 1000 songs in .mp3 format loaded into itunes. I used a program called mp3gain to normalize my entire folder of 1000 songs to 96% and have selected the sound check feature in itunes to make the songs the same volume and I have selected the sound check on in the ipod settings. My songs are still not the same volume when I play back in my car with a moster charger/output devise or with the headphones.
Am I doing somthing wrong or is this a terrible feature in Itunes 9.01. I have had this same problem with all version of Itunes 8 also and 7 before. I would think that since I used mp3Gain prior to loading the songs to Itunes I wouldn't have this problem anymore.
