It seemed like a cool little product, reasonably priced, to augment where movie-maker features kind of leave off or require programming to obtain, which I have no skills for.
Anyway, bought it, downloaded it, installed it...it is unable to display the video contents of wmv or avi files. Thought maybe it was the codec but...I can open both of these file types in windows media player so a codec problem doesn't seem to be the answer.
I contacted tech support over a week ago and never heard back, which is not a good thing. But what else can I do? I figure something might have happened in the life of the person who wrote the product and he is unable to respond to my request. So I don't want to be too pushy. Still, I have a holiday weekend coming up and would really like to apply myself to this project for a home video (family thing) I've been working on.
Has anyone worked with this product or, are there some general reasons why video might not display in a video editing product that I might try some generic type solutions?
