Following Cyberlink PowerDVD's 3D Blu-ray certification back in April, Corel WinDVD is now also certified to play 3D Blu-ray movies.
Users of WinDVD 2010 Pro will eventually receive a free updated that will make their player compatible with the 3D Blu-ray standard, and will offer Frame Sequential, Polarization and Anaglyph 3D display techniques to suit a wide range of hardware options. This is a similar deal to buyers of PowerDVD 10 Ultra 3D, as Cyberlink has also promised a free update to include 3D Blu-ray support later in the year.
