Even as the RIAA declared last week they may seek damages in the range of billions from struggling file sharing service LimeWire, a group of eight music publishers has sued LimeWire again for what they call infringement "on a massive scale."
The National Music Publishers' Association is suing LimeWire, and associated personnel for knowingly facilitating music piracy on the web. The NMPA suit is being filed as a related case to the RIAA action.
LimeWire issued a statement saying they would seek to negotiate a solution, to come up with "a business model that will compensate the entire industry".
