What the hell happened Inter Milan tonight. Alright, Arsenal did play better, but to be beaten by 5 goals to 1 in your home stadium is a bit of a disgrace, especially for a team like Inter Milan. Ok, they may not have won the Champions League before, but they are a top team.

Very disappointed for Celtic, they looked like doing it very well for a lot of the game and then they just couldnt finish it. That group could be anyone winning. A draw for celtic and win for someone else, may see them through. But really, a win is a must to be sure. Looking forward to Man Utd tomorrow night, i think we should win it ok, but a draw would see us through anyway. Roy Keane is out with an injury, but hopefully he will be back for us to slaughter Chelsea (i Hope).

Arsenal won today because of luck and determination.

Luck in that ESPN showed the match live and determination in me getting up at 6 AM to watch the match - my first ever live Champions League match!!

Oh, and Henry played okay as well, but it was mainly me

Guess I'll have to get up to watch all the live matches now

And as for the Chelsea-ManU match, I, and all other Gooners, are hoping for a draw, with lots of sending offs for each team. I know some people are also hoping for lots of injured players (or just lots of injuries to RVN), but I'm not that mean spirited.

If one team has to win, then I would back ManU, not just because they are further behind on points than Chelsea, but I just can't stand the whole "Chelsea are the new kings of football" nonsense (which, hopefully, should last about as long as that "Liverpool will win the league" nonsense dished about two seasons ago). I seem to remember that Chelsea were top of the league last Christmas, so they've not improved that much with all the money they've spent.

There's only one team in London!!!

I believe you are right about Chelsea being top of the league.

There were two lucky goals for Arsenal, but they did play well and they deserved the win. I was a bit disappointed with Inter's defence, but i was pleased for Arsenal. I would like Arsenal a lot more if ********, sorry Arsene (i wonder if the curse checker deletes his name??) Wenger, was not the manager. I really cannot stand him. I understand that people probably feel the same about Alex Ferguson. When he retires, i hope to see Martin O Neill come to Old Trafford, no one could hate him if they tried.

Well done anyway, make sure you are up in two weeks for your last game. A win is a must, and even still im not sure you immediately qualify, but my guess is you do.

Celtic must win their next match to qualify. I hope Rangers lose tomorrow. Come on United. Come on UNITED. YEEEEEAHHHHHHHH

          The censorship function does work

The CL table for Group B is as follows :

          Lokomotic Moskva 8
          The Mighty Arsenal 7
          Inter "1-5" Milan 7
          Dynamo Kiev 6

As for qualification, a win would mean we win the group (not bad from being bottom just a few hours ago, and with betting odds of 60-1 of winning the group), regardless of how the other match goes (if Inter wins and we win, we are level on points, but we would be ahead because of the better head-to-head record - so the 4th and 5th goals today may be very important). A draw and a Inter-Kiev draw also means we go through (again, on head-to-head with Inter). A loss would see us out though, but that may hold true for all the teams in this very close group.

lol - They fell to pieces, but all the credit should go to Arsenal for capitolising on it. Im afraid Inter will never have the European record that its counterparts Milan have.

Stupid Fulham game, dominated the whole game (97% possession at one time, and 21 to 6 in terms of shots on goal), but still scoreless. The most one sided scoreless game I've ever seen (and the best Arsenal have played in quite a while, ironically).

Didn't watch the Chelsea game, except for part of the first half. United weren't very impressive, unfortunately.

Yeah van Der Sar really saved Fulhams ass on a number of occasions. United played a bit better the second half, but it was still disappointing. However, it is widely known that uNited like to full around up to January to give the other teams a chance so it doesnt get too boring. After January they will start performing. The FA Premier Trophy is staying with US.

Now we are talking European Cup-football(soccer) what do you ppl so think about the German teams totally downride on the international scene.

                        Borussia Dortmund - (a french team) 0-4
                        Schalke 04 - Brøndby 4-6 (2-1 in D,1-2 in DK, 1-3 in penaltyshootout)

Some says its the worst season for German football since the European Cup started in 1971, and i agrees with them.

It is a very bad season for German football. They really are not performing well at all. France beat them 3-0 in Germany not so long ago. I remember back to when West Germany was the greatest football team around, and Germany has always been a predominent force. However, they really need a new crop of good players. Since Jurgen Klinsman, Matteus and the like have gone, the lack the solidness they had. Being a Dane, how do you find the Dutch side playing. Pretty impressive against Scotland. I like Ajax myself.

Also, anyone watch spanish football? Real Betis has lost another match - 6 in a row and are now down in 15th.

You asked me about Dutch Football, and im can only say im wery pleased with Dutch Football because the Dutch league has been kind to take Danish players so they could get use to the tuff terms there are in the major European leagues.

If the Danish players did´nt have this possibillities wouldnt the Danish Team be able to win their group and directly qualify to Portugal next Summer.

Try next time you see the Danish national Team play a game and see how many there are playing in other European Leagues.

A perfect example i can give right here is Milan Striker Jon Dahl Tommasson, Evetons Peter Gravesen, Rangers FC Striker Peter Løvenkrands etc etc.

And not to forget Manchester U. foreign Goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel.

So i rather pleased about there are some good European Leagues and of course so im proud if there are some danes there are taking part of showing some good Football

Yeah, the Danes are doing well. The reason i commented on the dutch team was that i thought there were a lot of Danish players playing in that league. To be honest im not really sure of the Danish league or who is doing well in it, but im more familiar with the Dutch and new a lot of palyers played there.

Tommasson is an excellent player, as is Lovenkrands, though he was quite quiet when Rangers palyed against Man utd.
