Yeah, i really dont want to see Chelsea winning the league. If there was another team other than Unite that was to win the league, im happy that it is Arsenal, though they are a big rival of ours.

Teams I would like to win the league, if Arsenal can't:
1. Manchester City - quite a few Arsenal connections
2. Fulham - even more Arsenal connections (Volz, Inamoto, Boa Morte)
3. Charlton - Alan Curbishley is a good manager
Teams I would like to see relegated:
1. Dirty Leeds - because they're probably heading that way anyway
2. Bolton - annoying team to play against
3. Blackburn - our bogey team
4. Spurs - obvious reasons
I mentioned a few posts ago about our other Spanish wonderkid, the 16 year old Cesc. He played in the reserves today against Spurs, and he did well again according to the match report:
59mins: (Cesc) Fabregas jinked his way through four or five challenges before sliding the ball to Birchall, who did a Ruud style tap in to score his second goal, starting off great celebrations by the team and fans in red. A great play by our very own Spanish wonderkid! 0-2 to Arsenal and the match is sealed.Comment

Yeah, im also looking forward to next season. I think that after this terible finale to this season (i say terrible even though it isnt) that we will have something sorted for next. Rio Ferdinand will have his appeal this Thursday i think. I hope he will get a reduction so at the very least he can start the next season.
Also, when i think about it. United are not performing too badly. They have had a few bad results, but on the whole, we are 3 points better off in the league than we were this time last season. The premiership is getting closer every year. What i mean by that is that the competition between the teams is greater. There are no easy games in the premiership any more. Apart from the top 4 teams, who generally always finsih in the top 4, the rest is very competitive.
I would like to see Leeds go down this season. I dont like Man City for obvious reasons. I dont mind spurs, quite like Bolton and Fulham, even though im a United man. No real objection to liverpool or Arsenal. Cant stand Chelsea...http://www.dvd-backup.tkComment

It's back to the Premiership ...
Arsenal - Bolton : Bolton always gives us a hard game, and a draw is very likely (probably the most likely result). A moment of magic, or a moment of madness will most likely determine the result here.
United - Spurs : Spurs are not half bad attacking wise ( ), and United are defensively fragile. Could be an interesting match. I predict 8-7 in United's favour.
Chelsea - Fulham : Chelsea undeservedly wins by a luck goal againComment

8-7 lol - i guess i would be happy with that result. Maybe this could be the start of an Arsenal run of poor results. We only need Fulham to beat Chelsea and Arsenal to lose 4 games, or draw 6 out of 10. Id be well happy with that. Then we can be champions and FA cup winners...
We have a few more injuries, our bench is really strong though. Its going to put the fear into Spurs:
Carroll, Pugh, Lynch, Richardson, solskjaer
Solskjaer is the only quality player we have on the bench (outfield). We're starting with Diego and Rudd up front.
By the way, i see that we are linked again with Carlos Puyol, Fernando Torres, and Damien Duffhttp://www.dvd-backup.tkComment

Nah - he is too unpredictable and does perform very often. When he does perform he is amazing, but reliability is something that United fans need now.
If Arsenal dont get beaten today they equal the record. Truely amazing feat.http://www.dvd-backup.tkComment

"Europe" next for Arsenal. Then United at home. Then "Europe" again. Then United again. The next four games will be crucial for us!!
And it looks like Real Madrid's season is in trouble. A week ago, they were looking at a treble, and now, they are praying they can hold on to the league. I hope the same doesn't happen to Arsenal, but that's football!!Comment

Well, realisticly they are still looking at the double. I know they got beaten 4-2 today by Athletico Bilbao, but that has always been their problem ground away. They Real Zaragoza match was fantastic.
I fancy Man Uniteds chances against Arsenal in the FA Cup, i really do. The winner of it, ends up winning no doubt. I also really fancy Arsenal to put Chelsea out of the CL on wednesday. Arsenal are just looking to strong at the minute. But i expect that Real Madrid will go through ok, and i wouldnt think that Arsenal would be a Strong Real Madrid on their day....
What u think?http://www.dvd-backup.tkComment

I doubt Arsenal can win the CL, so if we can get into the semis, then that's mission accomplished for this season. I've always wanted to see a Real-Arsenal CL match, but Chelsea are due a win (or two) against Arsenal so who knows.
As for Arsenal vs United - a draw in the league game is the most likely result. The FA Cup game depends on who Arsene picks to start (I think Henry will most likely be rested for that game).Comment

I dont think he will rest Henry, but i dont know. I think Arsene would love to put Alex out of something as well as making sure he doesnt win the league. My guess is that a draw might be the case in the league game, but who's to know.
As for Arsenal in the Champions League, they have the ability to win it, and as a Man United fan, i dont want to see htem win it. But, as a fan of football, Arsenal are maybe a very deserving team to do it. Real Madrid v Arsenal would be a great match, maybe similar to the Man United versus Real Madrid last April, which was such a good game of football. Its just such a pity that we messed up the first leg (2 Silvestre mistakes - 2 goals conceded) at the Neu Camp.http://www.dvd-backup.tkComment
