Sorry, ill cut this short this time. I've writtten this out 5 times already and its been long each time. Feckin internet keeps disconnecting as i go to hit submit reply and i loose it all.

I think Arsenal are being a bit premature by not starting (leaving out??) Henry and Ljunberg. Although there is good cover with Reyes and Bergkamp, leaving out two key players is never advisable in such a match.

Im not sure on the Louis Saha front, i tended to agree with you, but it is strange that a skysports commentator would get something like that wrong.

Im really looking forward to the game at the weekend. I think it will be another amazing match. It goes to show you that when Arsenal and United play each other, they are a step up form the rest of the premiership. There is no other game/derby in the premiership, or even in Europe that could rival the game on Sunday. It was so fast at the start, the fist 25 minutes were rediculous the pace it was played at. It was soo exciting as well from a fans point of view.

Its all to play for. I think if we beat Arsenal at the weekend, it wont really affect the league title much. In fact, i think United will pretty much help Arsenal to win it by beating Chelsea at Old Trafford....

I think it's because Henry will have played 5 games in 2 weeks if he is left in the FA Cup squad and plays against Chelsea. It's also a way for Wenger to protest against the stupid mid-week internation friendly (I suppose FIFA thinks there isn't enough games at this time of the season!!)

The United game was great to watch, and I can only remember another game that was as good, and that was the league game against Chelsea at Highbury. The FA Cup game should be just as good, considering it's the real cup final!!

Yeah, too true on the Real cup final.

On the international games front, i think United are having something to say about it. Darren Fletcher didnt go to international duty, neither did Ryan Giggs. Ronaldo is at home also (dont know if Portugal have a match) as is RvN. Roy Carroll is not going to NI squad either. Wonder if United are pretending to have slight injuries so that their players are fit for FA Cup game?

Vieira, Pires, Ljungberg, Campbell have all withdrawn from their Internation squads, most due to "minor injuries".

          Let see:

          1. Players suddenly have minor injuries ahead of international friendly
          2. Injuries clear up just after friendly

Just a big coincidence, perhaps. This article explains it best:

          This is the best paragraph:
Giggs was reported to have a hamstring strain, though the official United website said it was a groin problem. No one at United was available to clarify whether the hamstring had been strained while the Welsh winger was examining his groin, or vice versa, or neither.

lol - that report says it all. It is a laugh mind you, but the fixture list is very very busy. You can expect top players to play 3 times a week and still perform just as well. I know that after running 15km in the Gym tofay, ill be tired for my match tomorrow at 2pm. I also know that ill still probably be very tired by Saturday at 3pm were i have an important league match to play (Ireland Amateur League) and i dont do anywhere near as much work as a premiership player...

Yeah, it's tough on the players. I think I read somewhere that Nike did a test on Ljungberg, and found that he only stood still for 5 seconds during a typical match - the rest of the time, he was running or walking.

And I just checked Arsenal's fixture list:

Saturday 3rd - United FA Cup
Tuesday 6th - Chelsea at home CL
Friday 9th - Liverpool at home League
Sunday 11th - Newcastle away League

The congested fixture is because Newcastle has an UEFA Cup game on Thursday and Wednesday. All four games are must wins for us, so it's going to be tough.

Arsenal best in England? This season maybe....but overall all i have to say is 8 out of 11, soon to be 12.

Arsenal are currently the best team in England, not the all time best (yet). To become an all time great team (like Liverpool or United), Arsenal will have to win a few trophies first ...

Yeah - there are a few dominate teams in history of the game.

                                Chelsea?? Who are Chelsea??
