That is correct, if you were to backup games to HDD you would need a bigger hard drive, mod chip(i recommend executer), and an application that runs on xbox to create backups. That site i gave you xbox scene is a very good site for informations in they have a forum and there are experts that mods xboxs in the forum check it out.
Thats what I was saying, there are many places with many experts with great advice and tutorials.
BTW - didn't Comcast up your upload speed to 768? They did where I'm at, 6M down 768 up
Thanks to everyone for the info. I just remembered how to get the first part going. Even though through I suspected I need a chip, I was curious to see what happens encase a suprise occurs. I never knew a chip can crash XBox Live. There's always another wall to get over.
Many thanks.
Darren.
Actually you can deactivate executer so that you would be able to log in xbox live just another information. I don't know alot about xbox modding but I have families that does this and friends.
Copying the media is one thing but you'll need a mod chip that works with your version of the xbox. People also get bigger HDDs for their Xbox and save the games to that. And last I heard, with a mod chip you can not do Xbox live
There is plenty on the internet in a buncha different places. Good Luck.

Do you know a link that has the guide with step-by-step instructions? I remember the DVD Decrypter doing it but I forgot how to copy the games with it.
