vcd-dvd...or somthing like that

i think i might have actuly created a new format of dvd or somthing its a dvd-rw useing a vdc format, most pep would actuly wonder y i would have done something like that instead of just copying the dvd or using dvd quality but the main reason is because dvd-rw are still bout $8 a piece and they can only hold 2 hrs, but.....if you recall vcds can get 74min on a cd whitch is only 650-700 megs but a dvd is 4.7 gigs and actuly you can fit 8-9 hr onto a dvd but as usly there another problem with it. so far i havnt found a single dvd player that supports it even set-top dvd-rs cant read it i have actuly checked every dvdplayer in curuit city, best buy, and sound advice...but as i said i havnt found even one that can read it, but on a pc it works just like a vcd but that kind of defeats the purpose of puting it on the dvd...so if any of ya no a player or anything that can play it plase let me know
