hi- i'm trying to record videos that will play in my dvd player. it supports the homemade cds/vcds/svcds and dvds. i can play the svcds with no problems in my machine. when i try to play a mini dvd i get the root folder and subfolders. the video will play if i navigate to it. am i missing an autostart feature for the mini dvd?
also, when i play the vcds on friends dvd players-they also support the homemade vcd/svcd-the video will play but not the audio.
the cds will play fine on any computer though.
i usse virtualdub to record and edit, tmpgenc to convert and ulead moviefactory to author and burn.
does anyone have any ideas? is there a step by step guide i can find that will help?
