The answer may be obvious but I have to ask. After I upgraded my firmware on my LG4040B and upgraded my CopytoDVD application, when using TDK 2X rated DVD-Rs, they now write at 4X?? Does the drive determine that the the DVD-Rs are capable of writing at 4X? Should I back it down to 2X. Doesn't seem to be a problem with the quality of the copy. Thanks in advance.
