Hi ,
i have a strange problem with my NEC 1300A DVD OEM burner.
After rebooting , the drive letter for the DVD drive in explorer
is gone, and also the device manager in XP does not show up the device. When I use Scan for hardware changes, it finds the device and installs it and a drive letter is assigned again.
This happens everytime after a reboot...
no problems on burning media however.
WINXP Home SP1, ASUS P4PE mobo, Nero 6.3, INCD 4.
Updated firmware from 1.05 to 1.08 from official NEC website,
using WIN flasher.
Any suggestions appreciated.
