Hello,
I'm curious to why the blank media seems more sensitive then pre burned retail media you purchase movies on? what I mean is I can clean my bought movies all day long without scratching them, but when I go to clean an accidental fingerprint off a dvd I burned it seems to leave scratches on it and it's getting to the point where I don't even want to clean them anymore. I exercise the safe handling measures for dvds, but accidental fingerprints and dust happens... So, I would like to know if this is happening to other people or am I just doing something I shouldn't?
I don't rub in a circular motion..
I try to rub as gently as possible.
I use a purple soft nonabrasive soft cloth made by Memorex to clean my dvds and I use rubbing alcohol for the stubborn prints\dust..
Thanks, Rick
