Looking at this fab site I know someone can add light on this, even though people may get tired of the new guys!
Using xmpeg 5: I encoded 2hr movie into avi file (800mb)
sound is great, no sync problems, and picture quality good but gives the appearance as though its slightly fast (blinking quickly, fast movements), although sound is fine.
Does this make sense?
My details for the file are: Audio Bitrate: 128kbps
16 bitrate
DivX Audio Codec
23 frames per second/video compession via 3ivX 4.4.04/data rate at 135kbps.
