I encode a lot of cartoons captured from tv with nandub and DivX3.11a in two-pass-mode. I use the format 384x288x25fps and use a average video-bitrate of 500-530kbps. Most nandub-DVD2DivX-guides say that the minimum-bitrate shouldn't be set below 300kbps. I tried it many times with 100kbps minimum and it worked perfect.
What could happen if I use such low bitrates and can I use even lower rates (0 kbps)?
