problem with ac3 and divx5??

hi i got some videos with ac3 sound and dont know if they work at all (have to try it with other pc or without divx 5)

may it be that divx5 cant play back the ac3 sound? (although i got ac3 filters installed), further divx5 doesnt allow me to watch any movies in divx format in other player than divx playa??????? WHY????? Whats that good for?
