My problem is that I can convert the audio to a *.wav just fine but trying to convert the audio to *.mp3 like i normally do doesn't work correctly. I'm using FlasKMPEG on Windows XP, versions 0.596 and the 0.6 preview with thunder.mism, etc. After encoding I check the properties of the *.avi and it says the audio is there, 2 channels, 48khz, blah blah. When I check the file in v-dub it says the audio is there too but it doesn't show any audio frames or samples or whatever. V-dub lists the mp3 audio codec, fraunhofer (radium), but still no sound. Is this a windows xp problem, or is there something I'm doing wrong? What's a good program to independantly extract the audio and convert it so i can combine it with the *.avi file in v-dub? I'll try that if everything else still fails. Thanks-A-Million!!
