I would like to make some Autorun CD software which can detect and install the divX codecs needed to play these files. I know there are several versions of the codec but I don't know if you have to have them all or if 5.0.2 is backwards compatible or not. Which dll files do I need to copy / register or is it not that simple? 
Also how is it I have to use something like Global DivX Player (now called something else I think) with some movies which have no picture when played in WMP?
