Time Stamp Flashes - First Chapter on playback

So, I've created a coupla projects now that when using VB 2.1.3.0 editing the opening credits out; playing it in MPC shows the first chapter some astronomical timestamp ex.: 38:00:00 - then after the first chapter completes, the time shows correctly for the next one ex.: 00:05:34.

It appears to play alright in both the software player and the SAP.

Played on the SAP it flashes back and forth between the bogus time 38:00:00 and what I suspect is the intended timestamp: 00:01:40 etc...

Any ideas what causes this?

I'm think it has something to do with the above block from the VB log when it cuts out the unwanted material... but I'm guessin' is all.
