I recently upgraded a win 98se machine to Win2000, with a clean install of 2000. After installing the hardware and updating all drivers, I get this message when trying to play DVD's:
Playback has failed due to one of the following problems:
1) Audio device is in use or not installed.
2) Display overlay is not available.
3) Not enough video memory.
The machine specs are:
Athlon 1.33Ghz
128MB DDR
ATI radeon 7200 w/64MB DDR
ATI DVD Player
Soundblaster Live Pro
I am not up to speed on video playback issues and would appreciate any help anyone can offer. Thanks in advance.
