Back in 1998 i purchased one of the first DVD players on the market. An RCA/Thompson DTH 1000 Pal/NTSC
Has been great, only had one laser clean and picture quality is excellent.
All my other discs play perfectly but my recently purchased Mad Max region 4 disc loads, plays perfectly for the first five minutes then skips badly until the end of the film
Played it on my friends player and no probs so how can a DVD player play 110 discs fine but not like this one
Nothing wrong with the disc as it works in my friends machine and if the other discs work then the laser lens in the DVD player doesn't need cleaning
WTF is going on. I'm afraid to buy more DVD's due to this problem
