Pioneer upgrade?

I have a CenDyne aka Pioneer DVR-105 model. Firmware is vers. 1.0 I burn with Ritek DVD's at 4X, and wondered what possible gain would I get by upgrading the firmware to the newer or 2.01 version?

Seems like it is working good now. Was there an issue with this drive that they came out with newer firmware?
