If I had a PAL, FILM, or anything not NTSC file on my computer and wanted to view it on a NTSC TV with a s-video out, will it look screwed up? I know what VCR Tapes in PAL look like on NTSC and vice versa..pretty screwed up, but I had this hope/idea that the video card's s-video output converts it to a NTSC signal. Am I right?
If I'm confusing some people, let's make a scenario...
I play a short clip from the Fast and the Furious, ripped from DVD and encoded at 24 fps (FILM) and play it through the S-Video-Out on a GeForce2 MX-200 video card...will it work?
I hope so...we got a new computer upstairs and I want to make the old one a DVD player for out downstairs TV, but also want to be able to watch anything from the computer like games, music videos that I download, etc. Thanks for any help!!!!
