I use a BUSH DVD2023. It is just over 12 months old. Every so often (usually towards the end of a DVD), it displays the message "correcting disc error...", the picture freezes then jumps between 1 - 5 minutes of viewing time. I can stop the disc, rewind, then it plays through fine! On two occasions the player has totally frozen however and I've had to switch off and then back on to extract the DVD.
The affected DVDs play fine on my PC, X-Box and PS2 i.e. no error message - no skips.
The skip occur when using brand new DVDs (inserted in the player just after the shrink wrap is taken off!), as well as rental copies. I do not allow 'copy' DVDs in the player.
Suggestions?
