I want to make a backup copy of a PAl DVD that was sent to me, converting it to NTSC or region one or region free.
I had removed the rigion control, backup the DVD, then burnt a new DVD.
I cannot play it in a Sony DVD player, but it will play in more economical DVD players. But then the original PAL DVD would also play in the economical DVD players. The more economical the DVD player the less important the regional control seems to be.
How to create a backup DVD, changing the PAL to a NTSC or rather remove the regional control to play in a sony?
Some how the Sony player still thinks there is a region control??
If I understand PAL and NTSC does not seem to matter as much as rigional control, but if the rigional control is removed, it should play, or does PAL and NTSC still play a factor?
