having some trouble with a Region 1 DVD. My drive is just not reading the disc - it spins up, then theres this clicking sound and the drive powers down. The disc worked fine on a drive (Sony) at work and it used to work fine earlier. Any suggestions? Thanks
I'm using an Asus E612 DVD Drive. Firmware is 1.2B and both DVD Genie & Drive Region Info say that the drive is region free - but device manager says Region 1 and that just 1 more region change is possible. The test jumper has been removed from the drive which makes it RPC1
