I have a region free Pioneer 106S in an WinXP box. I've only played region 2 discs so far, but I've ordered some region 1 ones so I thought it was about time I checked out how to handle the WinXP region code. After reading some guides I found out about the registry key, but I can't find it with regedit and neither can DVD Genie. So will my system start counting down the number of changes left after I play a DVD from another region, or is it holding the region code info in some other place? I'm a bit worried that I'll end up with a region locked system...
