I'm currently in the planning stage of making a motion picture, that I'll hopefully sell to theatres and TV. I've got a question regarding which camera to use:
Which one would you choose; the Sony DSR-PD170 or the Sony HDR-FX1?
The HDR-FX1 is what they claim is HD. Is it truely HD, or just some budget version? The Sony DSR-PD170 however has a 24p shutter, while the HDR-FX1 films in interlaced.
Is either of these cameras good enough for cinema screening, or do I have to look at some other alternatives?
