Ok heres what I wanna do and im such a newbie, I wanna rip sections from dvd, convert to avi , edit them and reburn to dvd using a dvd-r. Now I do not wanna loose the quality of the original dvd I just wanna edit a bit then reburn .
Now I have read guides and a bunch of stuff. I tried just to encode full frames but that did not even work and I have tried a few codacs but the picture looses so much in traslation. Maybe someone can offer a idea into which codac or point me in the right direction?
I am a dj and what i wanna do is make video screen filler for the club i work at. We used to just vcr them and make out on on tapes but i thought dvd would be better and longer lasting and video would be a hell of a lot better than vcr.
Im not concerned with audio at all in fact I will be removing all audio from it. I just wanna get the best picture i can.
