Divx 5.0 and 5.02

When I play a few divx files with 5.0 codec, there is no audio. Other than that, everything is fine, I can fast forward to anywhere in the file. When I play the same file with codec 5.0.2, I got both audio and video work. Then only problem is when I fast forward, the video and audio will not sync (I think only the video fast forward). And when I fast forward quite a lot past the middle of the file, it'll get low virtual memory error and exit. If I play the whole file through without fast forward, the movie will stop at some point in the middle and won't go any further. Any idea what's the problem?
