    DVDShrink and Decrypiter I/O errors

Hey, I know there have been alot of posts about this but I have seen no real FIX for this. Seems most just get frustrated and buy a new drive. I have an Optorite DD0203 with the most recent firmware. I hadn't used the system in a month and when I fired it up to backup a dvd it fails. I did not that in Decrypiter the buffer information is empty. It seems that someone how the 8 meg buffer is not getting used. Or at least that seems to be the problem. I am defreaging the drive and I am going to try again. this is really wierd. I am running this on a 1.2 Ghz system with 512 DDR 400 mem and a IDE 7200rpm 133 interface. I have tried using decrypiter from my Optorite and the Maddog DVD drives. Both fail, but play the disc's fine.

    Thanks for any assistance!
