TV-Out - Can't see movies on TV

The problem came up after formatting windows, I saw my desktop and all stuff, on TV, but not movies, they were just blacked out. Before the format, all was fine, but now, it isn't. I have GF Ti4400, a video cable and ACE Mega Codecs Pack 6.03

Help, anybody ?
