You can export video from your video ipod without having to buy the official Apple iPod AV Cable, which costs $20.
You can just use a standard A/V-to-RCA cable that comes with most camcorders. If you don't have one I think you can get one off of ebay for about $5 with shipping. On your TV , just connect the red plug on a A/V-to-RCA cable into the yellow port, the yellow plug into the white port, and the white plug into the red port. If this doesn't make sense, as I'm not so good with my technical terms and what not, you can follow the link bellow for a more detailed explanation. I didn't expect this kind of trickery from Apple; you just can't trust any corporation.
