i noticed with a few movies that when you play vobs by itself without the ifo, and bup files it plays in 4:3 (well it actually looks like widescreen only squashed to make the video look like stick people.) but it says 4:3 if you check out the properties of the vob using certain programs. but if i was to play that with the ifo files, it plays in 16:9... so i'm assuming some people make the dvd without the vobs being actual 16:9 instead they use the ifo file to make the dvd player play in that aspect?
