help with Gordian Knot please

Hi! can someone please help me with gordian knot! I have been following the Gordian Knot tutorial on this site, dvd to xvid, but it seems it only encodes the half movie? and leaves the other half not encoded? and I don't understand what I am doing wrong? I have rechecked all the setting 5 times! and they seem to be ok, there is also 2 big files in the output folder? first I tought it was part 1 and part 2, but it turns out they are both part 1? dooooh this is making me dizzy?
