Is it possible to put chapters inside a video file ?

Hello

Is is possible to create one video file consisting of a few video chapters so that the user would be able to watch particular clips by selecting it inside a videoplayer from sth like a playlist ?

I think I've seen such video while watching asf file (or wmv), when after opening in WMP I could choose inner clips from combo box while still it was one file.
