How do I put 2 tv programes on 1 dvd?

I want to record 2 tv programes using a dvd recorder, and then using my computer to burn them on to a dvd so that I can choose which title I want to watch when I put the dvd in the player.

At the moment I only know how to combine them on to 1 dvd but there is only one title and I have to skip through from the beginning and playback using the time that is displayed in the player.

I have been using "dvd shrink" and nero.
