subtitles don't play anymore after MediaSubtitle Editing

Hello. I am new with subtitle editing, but this is really weird.

I have AVI movie files and a SRT subtitle files. I could normally play them on bouth my laptop and PC with REAL PLAYER (for some reason WMP can't play them), having already installed DirectVobSub (VSFilter.dll 1.0.1.4). Everything was perfect, I could see any AVI with any subtitles, even TXT files.

Later I installed DivxLand Media Subtitler 2.0.5 to edit the subtitles a little. It seems I could do it with no problems. I edited the subtitles in the program, and also could preview them on the program perfectly. But when I tried to see the avi movie on REAL PLAYER again, no subtitle at all appeared. It seems the vsfilter is not loading anymore, because it's symbol doesn't appear anymore on the taskbar, as it used to happen. To my bad luck, I did this in both my Laptop and PC, and I have the problem in both of them.

On the configuration menu for Media Subtitler, Player Options, there is an option that automatically deactivates VSFILTER, and it says that it would restart when the program closes. But it seems its not happening correctly. I Deleted and reinstalled the DirectVobSub, but the problem persists.

Please, I hope someone has figure out what this problem may be, and there is simple solution to it. Thanks a lot.

I saw a similir threat, but the answers was not really acurate. Here is the threat,

What are you using to play the videos?
