I have several home DVDs (vacations, wedding, kids) that have become corrupted and no longer can play. They were created with the Sony mini DVD/RW discs and then copied to my server for storage. Somehow they have become corrupted during a server migration and can no longer play with any video software. I usually use WinDVD, but have tried playing on other w/o success.
I've copied all of the raw DVD footage to my local drive to begin repairing, but would like some recommendations on what software to use for repair.
The exact error I get everytime I try and play with WinDVD is:
WinDVD.exe-Application Error
The instruction at "0x7814500a" referenced memory at "0x0523b000". The memory could not be "read". Click OK to terminate the program. Click Cancel to debug the program.
