Hi,
Not sure if this is the right forum, but I'll give it a go.
We have a couple of Panasonic E550's (and E560's) that are mounted on a train. We take feeds from the cameras, add some text to them (distance, date etc) with an external text generator. We then need to send a sync signal to the cameras to make sure the text ends up where we want it. The sync is coming in on the G/L Input (VBS/HD). This all works, but..
If we don't connect the sync, the camera automatically adjusts to the light conditions. But when a sync is sent to it it doesnt. So if the light changes (which it does quite frequently) we either need to set it up manually (on the lens) or disconnect the sync signal.
Does anyone know why this is and if there is a way around it?
