I used to have no problems with Sony and Imation DVD discs whether they were plus or minus. They recordables as well and when I was burning on them I got great playback and now they don't work anymore. The picture breaks and the playbacks sometimes pause themselves, play a bit and pause again. At the moment I can only use Maxell unless there's other brands that I can use but so far I only trust Maxall. It's not my DVD burner because I bought a new one because I had an accident the other day and dropped my other one. This disc problem was also happening with my other burner so the burner isn't the cause.
