Hi There...
I have spent some time trying to figure out what are the right settings for an optimum digitalization of mi old Hi8 tapes....
I am using a Sony DCD-TRV350 to play mi older Hi8 tapes connected trough firewire to my laptop using the capture feature of adobe premiere...
The problem is that I end up with huge file of as much as 13-15Gb per hour... but I am sure that my old analog tapes shouldn't take that much space...
I am guessing that the problems is in the settings before I start capturing...
Here are my choices..
My question is what is the best quality without wasting so much space?
This are old analog NTSC tapes taken with an early 90's Sony Handicam...
Any help would be appreciated
THanks!
