There is one thing about Recode I haven't seen mentioned anywhere. When I select Video Settings - Resize - Disable option, the setting is often ignored and the final video is resized. Could someone please let me know if this is a known problem or if they have the same problem?
This is what I normally do:
1) Select "Recode DVDs and Videos to Nero Digital
2) Select "Nero Digital AVC" category in dropdown
3) Select "Standard - AVC" profile in dropdown
4) Deselect "Fit to target" checkbox
5) Drag and drop 4 or 5 MPEG-2 files to the "Content" box. These videos come from the same source, recorded exactly the same way, with exactly the same settings and size (720x480).
6) Click Video options button and select "Disable" for "Deinterlace", "Crop" and "Resize" for each file.
7) Quality slider is to maximum (2.00Mbps) for all files.
8) After clicking "Next" I select Destination: Hard Disk Folder
When Recode finishes I save the log.
The log will show which files were resized. Most of them are, even though all had Resize option turned off.
Thank you for your help.
