I get the error code 0x80048002 when I try to encode xvid with 5.1 channel audio. This error is familiar to me since I would get a similar error trying to encode WMV9 output using the wmvcmd.vbs scripts...This error would occur trying to output to 6 channels when the encoder thought you only had 2. However, using the WM Encoder, the input isn't as "sensitive" and I can enocode 6 channel.
I can encode WMV9/WMA10Pro without issue in TMPEng xpress so I'm assuming this is a similar problem with this tool.
Others have had success around this encoding WMV files by setting the control panel>Cineplayer DVD Encoder Options>Audio>5.1 but I cannot do that since I get a dll erro...However, I do have it set to system settings with is 5.1.
So my question is...has someone encountered this problem? I prefer to use this tool to backup my files to AVI. I would prefer not to convert to wmv files...
