For some odd reason, TMPG DVD Author Pro w/Divx is turning the normally black bars at the top and bottom of letterboxed video, white in motion menus.
Here's what I do.
I create a small clip of a scene I want as background in a motion menu as a Divx file with the program. Playback of the source file in the preview window shows the letterbox bars as black, as does playback of the created clip in Divx player.
But when I create a dvd using that clip as a motion background, the bars turn out white in the menu. The source video that got encoded during the building process, the bars remain black. Only in the menu, do the bars appear white.
What could be causing this, and is there some way to correct it?
