I've got two questions about the DviX functionality of TMPGEnc DVD Author 3:
(1) If the files one is using are already in encoded DivX format, will DVD Author 3 re-encode them when outputting a divx file?
(2) The TMPGEnc web site proclaims that this software has "High Definition DivX support (1280x720)". Why then does it give me a "HDTV Profile track set" warning when I go to output DivX HD, as follows: "Using HDTV profile may output a file that cannot plays correctly on a set-top player." If I have a player capable of playing DivX HD, can I just ignore this warning? (My files were encoded using the DivX HDTV profile at 720p.)
Thanks!
