Hello Everyone,
I like MPC very much and I'm trying to watch everything with it. However, I can't watch online videos with it. When I click the link to watch my local news video, it opens in Windows media player and not in MPC. I found this online video in TEMP folder as a DAT file (with MPC icon) but when I click, I get the message "cannot render the file". Then I tried to open this DAT file with Windows Media Player, and I got the same message: cannot render the file or the file is damaged. When I change the ending Dat into mpg, mpeg, wmv, flv, it doesn't help either.. However, I know for sure that this Dat file is the online video, they have the same name and the file size corresponds to the video.
Do I need a decoder for that? Is it possible to open it with MPC automatically from the website without looking for something in the TEMP garbage??
